Job Description

To plan, price and suggest travelling consultant and consumers leisure travel related products, all inclusive package tours tailor-made holidays as well as brochure holiday packages/products in order to maximise every sales opportunity and income earning potential. Provide Backoffice support in reservations, documentation and accounting functions thereby enabling frontline selling staff to sell Holidays by dnata\'s complete range of leisure travel services and productsJob Outline\xc2\xb7Effectively plan, price suggest and sell to clients and travel agents, brochure and tailor-made package holidays. To achieve the department\'s financial targets by selling value added products at the right price.\xc2\xb7To construct holiday packages using airfares and ground operators tariffs, liaising with these ground operators to ensure efficient handling of all services reserved by passengers.\xc2\xb7Handle reservations and documentation of all leisure travel products marketed through Holidays by dnata, to allow frontline staff to effectively sell and market Holidays by dnatas\'\xc2\xb7leisure travel products.\xc2\xb7To prepare sale summary sheets to enable accounts departments to apportion profit of each individual transaction and to lodge liability amounts to supplier ledgers. Investigate in a proper and detailed manner all passenger complaints and provide information collected to perations Supervisor for necessary action.\xc2\xb7Provide market information and consumer feedback on product range, pricing and product delivery to Operations Supervisor who intern forwards the information to Operations Manager and Contracts Manager of dnata Holidays to ensure that product range is market compliant and customer oriented. Suggest ideas for improving product range and pricing, operations and back office functioning.\xc2\xb7Maintain statistical records of number of clients, nationality and destination booked to assist in future product development and contracting.\xc2\xb7Load, manage and maintain rates for leisure travel products, contracted on behalf of Holidays by dnata, in the World master System and make these available to dnata Shops/outlets and retail travel agents in the region.\xc2\xb710 Years schooling or equivalent\xc2\xb7More than 3 years of experience in hospitality and holidays\xc2\xb7Excellent command of English written and oral.\xc2\xb7Must be numerate and have through knowledge of World Geography and places of tourist interest.\xc2\xb7Confident and pleasant personality possessing articulate telephone communication skills.\xc2\xb7Training as specified in the Company\'s training/experience progression chart which follows:A. Telephone TechniquesB. Standard Fares & TicketingC. Product Selling TechniquesD. Human Relations in PracticeE. Advance Fares & TicketingF. Basic SupervisionG. On the Job Training * Previous experience in a Travel Agency, with an excellent track record or 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with a recognised Airline or reputed travel agency providing leisure packages.
