Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Manager to oversee and manage all legal matters within the organization. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and support the business in navigating legal risks while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legal strategies to support the company's business objectives.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Advise on compliance with local and international laws and regulations, including consumer protection, employment law, and data privacy.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and other legal proceedings, working closely with external counsel as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in legislation that may affect the business.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Prepare reports and present legal updates to senior management and the board of directors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; a master's degree (LLM) or additional qualifications in corporate law is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the retail or corporate sector.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations related to retail operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
