Due to the complexity of Nakhla Business, the business team needs a main legal point of contact for the day-to-day work; product legal registration; development and review of distributor and supplier agreements. The position will work closely with Corporate Affairs, SRA and R&D teams on regulatory advocacy, flavor and ingredient discussions.
Collaboration: as required with Nakhla Business team, local M&S team, global functions, MENEAT regional and HQ legal team.
Commercial Contracts: Review and draft all sorts of contractual agreements, such as supply, distribution, sales & marketing, confidentiality, construction, services and consulting agreements
Standardized processes: Support the local legal team to implement and develop standardized processes to facilitate day-to-day business operations, ensure that all the agreements are available in the CLM System, and provide all the necessary support on the Platform usage.
Employment-related matters: Advise and work closely with the Nakhla and M&S teams on all matters, when and as required
Contentious Matters: Assist the Legal Team in the Company's litigation matters in collaboration with the appointed external counsels, especially those related to Nakhla business
Budgeting: Work with the Legal Director and the regional team to ensure that all appointed external legal advisors are competent in law appointed for and all legal costs charged are in line with the allocated budget.
Whom are we looking for - Requirements:
LLB Law of university degree (required)
LLM from a common law jurisdiction (desirable)
Minimum 5 years of experience with a corporation as " House Counsel" or as an Associate with a top-tier law firm
Advanced written and oral English level, particularly sufficient for communicating/handling legal matters. Good level of computer skills
