Legal Manager (French Speaking) Dubai Our client is a leading multinational technology company. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Manager to manage their in-house legal team and ensure our contractual, compliance, and data privacy obligations are effectively managed. Role Overview: As the Legal Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing contracts with customers, subcontractors, and third-party suppliers. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with global regulations, including GDPR and other data privacy laws. This is a dynamic role that requires a proactive legal professional with strong experience in commercial contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the technology sector. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the in-house team: 2-3 resources. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, subcontractors, and third-party suppliers to protect the company's legal and commercial interests. Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data privacy regulations in multiple jurisdictions. Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Advise senior management on legal risks and strategies to mitigate potential liabilities. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Procurement, Services, and Project Management, to align legal policies with business objectives. Manage disputes, claims, and litigation in coordination with external legal counsel as needed. Conduct training sessions on compliance, data privacy, and contractual best practices for internal stakeholders. Requirements:

Qualified lawyer (LLB or LLM) with experience in commercial law, preferably in the technology industry. Strong expertise in contract law, negotiation, and risk assessment. Experience in GDPR compliance and data privacy regulations. Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment. Fluency in English and French is ESSENTIAL.
