Job Overview

:

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking a highly experienced Legal Head or Public Relations Executive with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the signage and outdoor media advertising industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's legal and compliance functions, managing all public relations activities, and ensuring the company adheres to all regulatory requirements. This role requires strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Compliance & Risk Management:

Oversee and manage all legal aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests. Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to senior management to mitigate those risks. Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and corporate governance standards. Liaise with external legal counsel on complex legal matters, litigation, and dispute resolution.

Regulatory & Government Relations:

Maintain strong relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all legal requirements. Manage the company's licensing, permits, and other regulatory obligations. Handle regulatory filings, renewals, and approvals to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and meetings with government agencies as needed.

Public Relations & Communication:

Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation. Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and coordinating press events. Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company on legal and public matters. Handle crisis communication and ensure the company's messaging aligns with its values and objectives. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.

Corporate Governance & Policy Development:

Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Conduct internal audits to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Provide training to employees on legal compliance, corporate governance, and public relations best practices. Ensure the company's policies are aligned with local laws and industry regulations.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation Management:

Manage and resolve disputes, including negotiations, mediation, and arbitration. Handle any litigation involving the company, including preparing legal briefs and representing the company in court. Work closely with external lawyers to ensure the company's best interests are represented in legal proceedings.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead the legal and public relations team, ensuring they are well-trained and performing efficiently. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on legal and compliance matters. Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development initiatives for the team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Relations, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional legal qualification (e.g., LLB, JD) is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a legal or public relations role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to the signage and media advertising industry. Proven experience in handling government relations and managing regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in legal research tools, public relations software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
