Responsibilities
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Legal Counsel to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar.
We envisage success in this role to include: Reviewing Tender Documents and providing contracts risk review with recommendation. Drafting / revising contracts. Developing KEO contract forms. Negotiating and closing contracts. Drafting and reviewing contractual letters. Understanding and enforcing KEO internal policies. Providing legal and contractual advice. Understanding insurance policies and requirements. Assisting in corporate restructuring processes and licenses. Reviewing Tenders Clarifications and replying, reviewing, analysing and preparing construction claims. Following up on disputes with external lawyers and have an input as may be necessary. Qualifications
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of 8 years' career experience with a Bachelor of Law or equivalent. Masters level qualification will be viewed favorably. Experience working in the construction industry within the GCC is required as knowledge of construction terms and principles is a pre-requisite in this position.
Furthermore, you should demonstrate:
Highly experienced in legal matters and also computer literate and proficient in using the latest legal and IT technologies. Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
