:Robert Half are working with a company based in Dubai to hire a Legal Assosiate.The RoleOur client is seeking a mid-level General Local Lawyer to join a dynamic team within a well-regarded firm or corporate legal department in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in corporate, commercial, and general advisory matters, with a particular focus on UAE laws and regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse legal matters, providing strategic advice to clients while ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Corporate & Commercial Advisory: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, MOUs, and other corporate documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Advise on UAE-specific legal and regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance across operations.
- Dispute Resolution: Provide pre-litigation advice, coordinate with external counsel for ongoing disputes, and ensure client representation is aligned with strategic objectives.
- Legal Research: Stay updated on changes in UAE laws and provide timely advice on the implications of legislative updates.
- Client Liaison: Build strong client relationships by understanding their legal needs and delivering high-quality advice.
- Transactional Support: Assist with due diligence, acquisitions, mergers, and restructuring within the UAE legal framework.
- Government Liaison: Interact with relevant UAE governmental and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a reputable institution.
- Admission to the UAE Bar Association or equivalent accreditation (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a UAE-based law firm or in-house legal department.
- Proven track record of handling corporate, commercial, and general legal matters in the UAE.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
