Position Required: LEGAL ADVISOR / OFFICER

Job description:

• Candidates shall have a minimum of bachelor's or master's degree in law.
• With 10-15 years of strong legal experience in corporate, commercial, EPC, and general laws, with at least five years' experience in UAE laws and international laws.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate laws and procedures including regulatory framework.
• Ability to provide immediate clarification as the first point of reference to business functions on legal compliance requirements, internal processes and pre-contract/pre-tender with due diligence, contract/document drafting and review, and any other related issues.
• Provide immediate advice on contract requirements, legal risks and liabilities, with research to evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions and operations, and apply effective risk management techniques, offer proactive advice on risk factors.
• Outstanding skills in legal language for drafting and solidifying agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Work alongside other functions and departments within ARH, to provide accurate and timely advice on various legal topics.
• Draft, review and approve agreements, contracts and other legal documents across the business to ensure ARH rights and interests are protected.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (e.g. regulators / local authorities, external counsel, etc.) and adherence to deadlines in relation to these relationships.
• Experience in drafting Civil contracts.
• Experience in drafting EPC contracts based on FIDIC.
• Strong technical knowledge on the construction industry procedures, especially on variations and extension of time disputes.
• Experience in representing the company in the court.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
• Strong in written and oral communication skills, both in English and Arabic.

Maintain current knowledge of amendments of legislation relevant to ARH business in jurisdictions where ARH operates, including preparing training materials and implementing internal process.

Required valid UAE driving License
