JOB PURPOSE The College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah seeks to appoint a qualified candidate for the position of Lecturer in Mathematics to join in Fall 2025/2026. Successful candidate must have a Master's degree in Mathematics.







MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Main responsibilities include Teaching and Community Service.


The candidate is expected to:



• Teach undergraduate courses (Mathematics and Statistics).
• Contribute to the development of new courses/programs.
• Community Services.
• Collaborating with fellow educators to ensure an enriching learning experience for all.





REQUIRED SKILLS • University teaching experience of at least two years.
• Experience in credit hour system.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Master of Science in Mathematics/Statistics from a well-known accredited university.
• Evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Teaching experience in both traditional and online learning environments (2 years Minimum).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and helping students succeed.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and growth.
• Experience in Machine Learning based application is desirable
