We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer/Lecturer to join our vocational institute, offering UK qualifications through OTHM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching, assessing assignments, and a thorough understanding of the OTHM qualification framework. The role involves delivering high-quality education and training in Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management through onsite, online, and hybrid formats.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Training:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management.
Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including onsite, online, and hybrid modalities.
Assignment Assessment:
Assess and grade student assignments in accordance with OTHM guidelines.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and improvement.
Academic Quality Assurance:
Ensure academic quality and standards are maintained in accordance with OTHM requirements.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes.
Conduct evaluations to monitor and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
Curriculum Development:
Assist in the development and review of course materials and curriculum.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
Student Support:
Provide academic and pastoral support to students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Advise and mentor students on their academic progress and career opportunities.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest teaching methodologies and industry developments.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Background:
A relevant degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field.
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is desirable.
Professional Experience:
Proven experience as a trainer and assessor in Tourism, Hospitality, and Business Management.
Familiarity with OTHM qualification framework, including assignment grading, evaluation, and quality assurance.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
