The Leasing Coordinator will assist in managing all aspects of leasing, including tenant relations, lease documentation, and coordination with property management teams. This is an entry-level position designed for a candidate with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude toward handling leasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lease Management:
• Assist with the preparation and processing of lease agreements, renewals, and amendments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records, including lease expirations, rent increases, and lease renewals.
• Ensure timely follow-up on all leasing inquiries and tenant requests.
• Tenant Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for prospective and current tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Coordinate with property management to ensure tenants' needs are met and property standards are maintained.
• Assist in organizing tenant welcome packages and orientation processes.
• Leasing Activity Coordination:
• Assist with property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and answering basic leasing-related questions.
• Maintain an active role in marketing available units, including listing properties on online platforms and working with leasing agents.
• Help coordinate open house events and leasing promotional activities.
• Administrative Support:
• Provide administrative support to the leasing department, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and preparing leasing documents.
• Assist in compiling leasing reports, tracking key performance indicators, and maintaining leasing records in the CRM system.
• Market Research:
• Conduct basic market research to stay updated on local rental market trends, pricing, and competitor properties.
• Provide input on leasing strategies based on market analysis and tenant feedback.
• Collaboration & Learning:
• Collaborate closely with the property management and legal teams to ensure seamless coordination of leasing activities.
• Eagerly participate in training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities to develop knowledge in leasing and property management.
• Assist in problem-solving, learning from senior team members and growing in the role through hands-on experience.
