Job Description

:

As a Leasing Agent, you will play a key role in helping clients find their ideal rental properties while also contributing to the overall success of the property management team. You will be responsible for assisting potential tenants in finding suitable rental homes, processing applications, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a deep understanding of the local real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Showings: Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits of the rental properties.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and current tenants to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Lease Management: Manage leasing agreements and ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
• Marketing & Promotion: Assist in the marketing of available properties through online platforms, social media, and other advertising channels.
• Application Processing: Review rental applications, conduct background checks, and assess the eligibility of potential tenants.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about the local rental market, including trends, pricing, and competitor properties.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of property listings, tenant communications, and leasing activities.
• Conflict Resolution: Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leasing, property management, or a related field. Experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
• Driving License required.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Sales-oriented with a customer-first attitude.
• Knowledge:
• Understanding of fair housing laws and leasing regulations.
• Familiarity with the local rental market and property management best practices.
