Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE

A Leasing Consultant, or Leasing Agent, works with tenants to find potential properties to rent. Their main duties include taking tenants to view different properties, communicating prices and terms to clients and negotiating sales and renewals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine clients' needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them.
• Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal
• requirements, and related matters ensuring a fair and honest dealing.
• Perform comparative market analysis to estimate properties' value.
• Display and market real property to possible buyers.
• Prepare necessary paperwork (contracts, leases, deed closing statements etc.)
• Manage property auctions or exchanges.
• Maintain and update listings of available properties.
• Cooperate with appraisers, escrow companies, lenders and home inspectors.
• Develop networks and cooperate with attorneys, mortgage lenders and contractors.
• Promote sales through advertisements, open houses and listing services.
• Remain knowledgeable about real estate markets best practices.

• Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring "safe systems of work" and "safe conditions" are in place within area of responsibility.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPIERENCE

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from a reputed University with attestation from MOFA UAE.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 - 4years' experience in the local real estate market would be advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

• Be able to produce and disseminate written and oral reports in English to present findings along with recommendation.
• Be able to communicate ideas and solutions to problems.
• Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
• Must possess a driver's license and a vehicle to operate in the UAE.
