Learning & Development ManagerOur client is looking to hire and relocate a South African to join their team in the capacity of Learning & Development Manager in Dubai (UAE) as soon as possible.They are a prominent player in high-volume manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and motivated Learning & Development Manager to drive continuous learning and development initiatives that support organizational growth and strategic objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee skills, fostering a culture of improvement, and optimizing training programs to align with business needs.Key Responsibilities:
Lead L&D Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to design and implement a robust training strategy promoting continuous improvement and self-directed learning.
Training Needs Assessment: Identify skill gaps across teams and develop tailored learning paths to address these needs.
Content Creation & Program Implementation: Develop and deliver engaging training programs in areas like leadership, compliance, safety, and technical skills, using a variety of learning modalities.
LMS Administration: Oversee the implementation and management of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless user experience and content delivery.
Onboarding & Performance Reviews: Manage onboarding programs and contribute to performance appraisals and individual development plans (IDPs).
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, and use data to refine programs for ongoing improvement.
Technology Integration: Leverage emerging technologies like e-learning platforms, LMS, and Talent Management Systems (TMS) to enhance the learning experience.
Required Qualifications
Degree or Bachelors degree in education, Training, Business, Human Resources, or a closely related field.
A Masters Degree in related field is highly desirable but not fundamental
Degree in Engineering ( industrial/managerial/manufacturing) is welcome.
Required Experience
3-5 years of experience in Program Development, Project L&D Management
Proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing continuous education programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment utilizing advanced technology
Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies in industry field.
Required Skills and Competencies
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Fundamentals of statistical mathematics and data analysis
Strategical view in manufacturing organization for operators and workers up to supervisors.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in utilizing Learning Management Systems and other educational technologies.
Experience in developing blended learning programs to utilize innovative training methods is an advantage.
