Main AccountabilitiesThe Learning and Development Specialist is responsible to They design, develop, and continuously enhance engaging learning solutions that address performance, skills, and behavioral gaps, leveraging new technologies, adult learning principles, and stakeholder collaboration. The Specialist also ensures compliance training is delivered, contributes strategic insights to company initiatives, and measures program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement - playing a critical role in supporting the organization\'s talent development and overall strategic objectives.Detailed Strategic Planning and Needs Analysis:
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for Learning & Development that aligns with the organization\'s goals and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Collaborate with department heads, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders to understand specific team needs and development goals.
Learning Program Design and Development:
  • Design and develop engaging and effective learning programs, both in-person and online.
  • Create high-quality instructional materials, including instructor guides, participant guides, and other course materials.
  • Incorporate principles from key learning theories and adult learning methodologies to ensure training programs meet the needs of diverse audiences.
Learning Technology and Tools:
  • Explore and implement innovative learning technologies to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless operation.
  • Monitor LMS usage, ensure employees complete all assigned mandatory trainings on the LMS, and provide technical support as needed.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Implement evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Analyze feedback and training data to continuously improve program quality and relevance.
  • Develop and maintain a training dashboard to track key performance indicators and progress.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
  • Partner and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships to ensure training initiatives are aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute to major company change and implementation initiatives by providing expert insights into the learning and adoption needs of employees.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that mandatory compliance training programs are developed and delivered.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations and update training content accordingly.
  • Ensure training materials follow design and development standards, learning principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
  • Apply research-based learning principles and inform learner progress and success in learning environments.
  • Develop and maintain targeted learning assessments to measure key outcomes.
  • Align with cross-functional teams to effectively contribute to learning development.
  • Contributing to all engagement activities and assisting with the planning and communications of major events.
  • Reflecting the company\' image in the best way that is aligned with Enova\'s standards.
  • Working in an efficient, effective, and productive manner.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the immediate manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, talent management frameworks, and performance management systems.
  • Certifications in Instructional Design and Training Delivery are a plus.
  • Proficient with Data visualization tools e.g., PowerBI
  • French speaking is highly preferred.
  • 6 - 8 years of experience in learning and development or talent management field
  • Knowledgeable of HR principles.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven project management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
