Archibat HR is currently seeking a Lean Quality Control Manager for a Leading Architectural Design company which offers services in Architecture, Interior, Furniture and Construction, with focus on educational projects.Our client is looking for an experienced Lean Quality Control Manager to lead quality control across our furniture manufacturing and installation projects, both at their production facilities and on-site installations. This role demands a proactive individual with a proven track record in high- quality manufacturing environments, preferably in Europe, the UK, or the USA, with a deep understanding of installation processes.Responsibilities:- Lead Quality Control: Oversee and drive quality control efforts across our furniture manufacturing and installation projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards. - Drive Change: Lead and implement quality improvements, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in challenging environments.- On-site and Manufacturing Facility Oversight: Manage quality control at our manufacturing facilities and during on-site installations, ensuring consistent standards. - Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, coach, and develop a quality-focused team, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.- Hands-On Involvement: Maintain a hands-on approach to managing quality control processes, actively participating in inspections and quality assessments.Client Relationships:- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their quality expectations are understood and met. - Act as the key point of contact for quality-related issues, providing clear communication and timely resolution of concerns.- Collaborate with clients to ensure deliverables meet their needs, proactively addressing any deviations from expected standards. - Present quality control strategies and results to clients, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.Teamwork:- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, project management, and installation, to ensure alignment on quality standards and expectations. - Foster strong internal communication to ensure smooth collaboration and problem-solving across departments. - Work with team members to resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. - Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making processes that impact quality outcomes.Required Skills:- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Quality Control Manager in high-quality furniture manufacturing and installation, with a focus on European, UK, or USA facilities. - Industry Expertise: Experience in high-quality manufacturing facilities for top furniture brands is highly desirable.- Process Improvement: Strong track record in driving change and improving processes within a challenging and dynamic environment. - Leadership Skills: Ability to lead with a hands-on, start-up mentality, inspiring and guiding teams while fostering a culture of excellence.- Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail, with a focus on maintaining super high standards and ensuring consistency in quality backed by robust processes. - Client Communication: Strong client-facing skills, capable of managing relationships and ensuring high satisfaction with the quality of deliverables.- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on quality objectives.Qualifications & Certifications:- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is required. A Masters Degree would be a plus. - Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) or other certifications related to lean manufacturing and process improvement are highly desirable.- Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and other relevant ISO standards.- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and quality control methodologies used in top-tier furniture brands would be beneficial. - Hands-on experience with Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing settings. - Proven experience working in manufacturing environments with a focus on furniture production and installation, specifically within the education sector.- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of international safety and quality standards applicable to manufacturing and construction, particularly in Europe, the UK, and the USA.Based in UAE International travel may be required depending on business/project needs.Required profile
