Provide guidance and on the job training for junior colleagues and conduct knowledge sharing to facilitate achievement of team objectives and completion of tasks in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.

Budgeting and Financial Performance
Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost- effective service.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet FAB and department requirements, policies and quality standards.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Be accountable together with the Head of CRE for the overall operation and performance of the assigned properties and/or portfolio.
Develop comprehensive asset strategies to include leasing, property improvements, capital structure and sell/hold analysis based upon financial analysis, market analysis and valuation reports.
Assess opportunities to exit/monetize investments and support the execution of the approved exit/monetization strategy.
Assess opportunities for acquisition of investments, undertake the appropriate due diligence and fulfil all local authority and regulatory requirements.
Conduct benchmarking analysis to compare each asset against a peer portfolio to identify weaknesses and strengths and initiate corrective/preventative actions where required.
Conduct market research and identify trends and key growth areas that can contribute to the maximization of returns and value enhancement of assets.
Oversight and management of all legal cases, liaising with external legal counsel where appropriate.
Understand competitive positioning relative to rents, lease terms and overall occupancy together with the means to maintain a competitive edge. Monitor market trends in value, cost and supply/demand fundamentals to identify acquisition or disposition opportunities and to continuously review portfolio to add value through renovation, expansion or repositioning of the assets and make recommendations accordingly.
Provide financial and operational oversight at both the property and portfolio level to ensure the economic viability of the properties. Supervise the annual budget process with third party managers, investment partners and internal analyst resources to include presenting and implementing the property budget/business plan.
Oversee marketing and leasing plan for assigned properties to include lease-up projections, estimated tenant upgrade costs, marketing methodology and associated budget, and prospect forecasts.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management/Economics or related discipline is required, and an MBA would be advantageous
Seven years\' relevant experience in asset management, a UAE national with less experience may be considered if this is considered a development role.
