Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer role for our Engineering to be based in Oman.

Please note that the position is subject to project award.

Job Purpose Responsible for leading senior and Rotating Equipment Engineers in order to generate the relevant Rotating Equipment FEED deliverables and activities for a Mega Project and / or several Medium Projects according to DCAF requirements and ensure timely completion to the required quality standards Below are some key responsibilities and duties: Manage team work assignments, work load, work forecasting for assigned projects Ensure team members accountabilities in the assigned project are clear and the team works well together Ensure team members in the assigned project learn from each other and from external sources Create demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors Provide effective interfaces and relationships within/between disciplines, and peers in other project teams Execute, with assigned resources, technical work for FEED within designated Cost Time Resource (CTR) scopes Implement, practice and Monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects in line with ISO 9001-2015 and API Q2 2nd edition requirements Ensure own discipline engineering and design work successfully delivered and appropriate reviews conducted Carry out appropriate discipline, inter discipline checks and reviews of engineering, and design work Contribute to the development of execution contracting strategies that compliment designs, construction methods and operating methods Capture/apply internal and external learning, including HSE improvements Deliver continuously improving performance, benchmarked as top tier in the industry Skills / Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 6 years in FEED / ENGINEERING and Minimum 15 years in oil and gas Experience Experienced in the Select, Define and Execution stages of projects Good communication skills with experience in leading a small team Fluent in English both written and spoken Company Overview
