:Wood is currently recruiting for a Process Subject Matter Expert to join our growing engineering team on a newly awarded project with our client Saudi Aramco based in Dubai contractor office.Responsibilities:

• Be able to lead and supervise Process Engineering Team
• Undertake process design work of units as required, supervise and check works of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate
• Execute process engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the design
• Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client\'s requirements and / or those issued
• Be responsible for the checking or approval of basis of design, process calculations, safety related calculations to develop the robust design
• Review and approve Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, PSFS, DPTDs, Equipment & Instrument specifications, Process Descriptions, cause, and Effect chart etc.
• Review and approve dynamic simulation study, transient study, surge study, Minimum Metal Design Temperature (MDMT) study, etc.
• Review and approve depressurization studies, flare load estimation and flare system design
• Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed
• Review and approve safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews as required
• Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity
• Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project
• Ensure that requirements of Licensor\'s Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performed
• Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers
• Identification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers, Engineering Manager / Discipline heads
• As Lead Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers, and delivering the engineering requirements of the project
• Be willing to mentor and engage in the training and development of junior engineers in the team
• Assist project team in the preparation of planning package, scheduling, weekly reporting etc.
• Assist as required in the preparation of pre - commissioning, commission procedures and operating Manuals
• Provided assistance in Manhours estimation and scheduling for proposals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of twenty years of relevant experience mainly being in the Onshore Oil and Gas industry
• Must have at least five years of experience in similar position, managing team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers.
• Subject Matter Expert in gas compression, hydraulics and line sizing, process control of multiple trains, large scale compression
• Proficient in Process Simulation software\'s such as HYSYS, Flare System Analyzer, PipeNet, Pipesim, OLGA
• Experience of working in a multi - project / multi - disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects
