The LPO- Data Platform will lead a team of Data practitioners \xe2\x80\x93 senior data engineers, data engineers, and technical engineers.The role is responsible for all data platforms used at the Bank including Hadoop, SAP HANA, Informatica, SAS, Sybase, Co and Microsoft Power BI . The role is required to work closely with Business and Technology stakeholders.This role involves ensuring the data platforms are meeting security requirements, are used efficiently by different workloads e.g., applications, data scientists, analytical users. There is also the need to audit and monitor activity. A key part of the role is resource management e.g., working with resource and product vendors scaling to provide resources to meet delivery demand. A key requirement is Servant Leadership, creating an environment where the engineers are empowered and encouraged to grow and build expertise and ownership. The role involves team management including recruiting of FTE and contractors and ensuring individuals\xe2\x80\x99 careers and performance is managed according to HR policies.The role requires an Agile mindset as well as building an Agile culture as defined by the LEAP Strategy. The role also is required to adopt a continuous improvement approach to delivery and automation implementation e.g., DevOps, CI/CD.Key Tasks:-

AutomationSkills & Experience:-

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent
• Relevant Certification
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Banking & Finance industry
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in Data Warehouse and Analytics
• Knowledge/exposure to Modern Data Warehouse Architecture and Analytics platforms
• Agile working practices
• 2 years Data Engineering experience or analytics experience
• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of DevOps, CI/CD
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of managing large team >8
• 4+ years of working experience with ETL tool, preferably Informatica.
• Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse principles
• 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience of working with Hadoop or HANA,
• Experience of working with Hadoop related tools e.g., Spark, Scoop
• 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience of working in Agile teams as part of a squad.
• 2-year Experience of technical aspects of Data Governance including glossary, metadata, data quality, master data management & data lifecycle management
• Should have excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
