PURPOSE OF THE JOBS:The Lead Piping Engineer will oversee the design and implementation of piping systems for onshore Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards. This role provides technical leadership, ensures project quality and safety, and mentors junior engineers to enhance team performance and project success.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage the piping engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for onshore Oil & Gas projects.
Oversee the preparation of piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Ensure all piping engineering activities are executed in alignment with project schedules, budgets, and client specifications.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on design documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and safety.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ADNOC standards and regulations.
Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates to stakeholders.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be available to join immediately.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.
Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in piping engineering, with a strong focus on onshore Oil & Gas projects.
Proven experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
In-depth knowledge of piping design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D).
Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API).
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound engineering decisions.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
