Job Responsibilities:
• Review and approve FFED / EPC Contractor's deliverables and ensure compliance with Contract obligations, Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, design philosophy, and Industry best practices.
• Ensure engineering works are performed to meet project schedules and that completed works are delivered safely and in a timely manner
• Coordinate all communications and meetings with the Contractors regarding engineering/design requirements as they may arise.
• Actively manage Contractor's HSE process of hazard identification (HAZID), including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Participate in Layout, P&lD, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops, etc.
• Attend internal progress and engineering meetings as required with the Contractors.
• To ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design and engineering in all phases of the project.
• To manage and audit the work of Contractor and ensure that quality and standards are maintained, and costs effective solutions are adopted.
• To ensure the design works of Contractor are in accordance with the scope of work and project technical specifications.
• Review Action Tracking Registers and ensure close out of all process safety actions arising out of key reviews, workshops, HSSEQ studies, safety related concerns, etc.
• Review Emergency Response procedures and plans for Loss Prevention inputs including alignment with Owner specifications and standards etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in engineering
Previous experience as PMC Consultant is required
Experience of Projects involving Gas Processing plants. pipelines etc.
