Primary Objectives: Responsible for overseeing projects cashflow, financial reporting, expenses, etc. -Assisting Manager Support Services with Cost Controls, Estimation and Auditing. -Creating budget forecasts and reports as may be required periodically. -Assisting KERP Program Management in monitoring cashflow of all assigned projects and ensure that it is within budget and as per approved schedule. -Assisting with implementation of financial controls, financial audits, etc. - Post Graduation in Business Administration (specializing in Finance) would be considered a plus.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES The role will involve the provision of coordination, coaching and support to project teams including: . Assuring provision of full project controls such as planning/scheduling, estimation, cost control services for the assigned projects. . Preparation and issuance of a comprehensive Monthly Project Progress Report with requisite analysis of status. . Provision of reports required under the contract. · Ensuring that the assigned projects are executed per the approved PMP's with respect to man-hours, cost, and quality, scope of work and time schedule. · Identifying areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommending the corrective action wherever required. . Identification and recruitment of project controls personnel . Implementation of suitable systems, processes, tools and procedures . Functional management of project controls capabilities across the Kuwait operations including: o Sourcing, development and mentoring of project controls specialists o Custodianship of project controls systems, processes and tools of Reviewing, auditing and improving project controls activities on specific projects. . Demonstration of project controls capability in the areas of cost control and scheduling to existing and potential clients (business development) Direct involvement in execution of key projects: o Proposal preparation o Team coaching/sponsorship o Project controls manager assign Note: Recruiter to paste Qualifications/Requirements of the job here. Mandatory Requirements:
· Finance degree · Minimum 12 years post graduation total experience · Minimum 5 years post graduation experience in a similar role · Proven experience in managing functions of HR, personnel & resources management logistics, finances in large sized projects. · Must have experience in project banking, partnership (JV) accounting, financial preparations, cash flow, WIP, client billing, accounts payable and local payrolls · Good English oral and writing skills are essential with analytical skills and attention to detail as well as good interpersonal skills · Must be able to work effectively in a demanding, multicultural environment · Must be computer literate, previous experience in Focus, AccPac, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, etc a major plus.Must have medium to advanced skill level in the Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access.
