Strategic Contribution
? Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into operating plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal
integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
People Management
? Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the department by setting
individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.
? Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned
department to foster a value driven culture within the organization.
Event Management
? Assist in the planning of events and organize, manage, and deliver all events including but not limited
to external events, conferences, forums, summits, internal etc. according to executive instructions
to ensure effective execution in line with plans, standards, and objectives.
? Manage events preparations and coordinate all event logistics, including planning timetables, booking
venues, supervising contractors, and third-party suppliers such as exhibition layout and advertising
designers stand suppliers, audio-visual production companies and caterers hospitality ensuring delivery
of the proper company brand image and that guests are extended all due courtesies and respect.
? Prepare Post event assessment templates and surveys.
? Work with the social media team to explore ways to leverage the usage of digital media through
identifying suitable platforms and developing attractive content with regards to events to ensure
conveying the right message.
? Develop, manage, and maintain professional relations with business partners, suppliers, contractors,
agencies, clubs, etc. with respect to Events Management activities.
CSR Management
? Support in the development of the CSR strategy, goals, and objectives in line with brand and overall
group guidelines.
? Assist in translating CSR strategy into measurable initiatives and activities spread over the year.
? Develop and maintain the CSR calendar containing information about the planned activities throughout
the year.
? Assist in screening of proposals from various social welfare organizations, NGOs, charitable institutions
etc. including reviewing their proposal and ensuring it is aligned with company objectives and values,
validating their past records and performance, developing a case for support/ funding etc. for approval
by the management.
? Monitor the effectiveness of all CSR activities; identify areas for improvement and recommend changes
as needed in-order to ensure consistency and effective and successful implementation of CSR initiatives.
? Collaborate with public relations, media, and communications teams to ensure the accurate
representation of the corporate image with the external public with respect to CSR initiatives.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
? Manage and ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned
department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, costeffective service.
Stakeholder Management
? Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., cross-functional teams, auditors) to conduct
comprehensive financial planning activities and deliver accurate and timely reports, ensuring alignment with relevant
standards and requirements to enhance financial decision-making and transparency across the Group.
Continuous Improvement
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and
practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Risk and Business Continuity Management
? Manage the effective implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and processes to promote a culture focusing
on the achievement of world class standards in risk management, QHSE and business continuity in line with
regulatory requirements.
? Lead and oversee the identification of risks associated with financial reporting and planning processes, proactively
addressing these risks to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial planning and reporting processes.
