Assume sole responsibility for assigned electrical engineering work scopes for Electrical Auxiliary Systems of HVDC and HVAC platforms.
Carry out electrical discipline work within a project team, supporting the project team for field development of renewable energy projects.
Plan, budget, organize, and control a segment of the electrical engineering deliverables for the project.
Prepare and review electrical deliverables for all project phases of renewable industries.
Liaise with HVDC/ HVAC Technology partners.
Coordinate and manage engineering subcontractors.
Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
Provide direction and guidance on all electrical engineering technical queries raised by either internal or external parties.
Liaise with the client's engineering, operations, and maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
Promote safe behavior at all times.
Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
Assist in the coordination of all activities related to electrical engineering design.
Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor/Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Proficient with software such as ETAP, AGi32, etc. ERP, EDMS, MS Office Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in an in-design office or EPC for offshore HVDC and HVAC platforms, Auxiliary Electrical Systems. Minimum of 6 years proven capability in an engineering design company Experience in offshore HVAC/HVDC and process platforms for major projects. Experience with performing electrical as per IEC/IEEE standards, a very good knowledge and understanding of DNV_GL, BV, and other classification rules and requirements.
