Experienced personnel with a background in PMC, EPC or EPCM projects, that can take on senior positions within the organisation and use their experience to steer the team to deliver outstanding performance across a portfolio of projects for Major Operators.

Offshore Aset enhancement projects covering multiple system and equipment on large platforms, Wellhead Towers and Islands

We are actively recruiting and look forward to engaging with you soon.Job Objective:The safe and effective delivery of a portfolio of Brownfield Safety Critical Projects on multiple offshore platforms; including large production complexes (multiple platforms bridge linked) and remote Wellhead Towers, located offshore within the UAE under an EPCM contracting model.Typical projects include Fire & Gas System Upgrades, Power Upgrades, Control System Upgrades, Flare System Upgrades and Platform Structural Modifications.Effective overall delivery of execution delivery on an assigned asset, which could be a production Complex or a number of Wellhead Towers. This encompasses both Construction and Commissioning activities as well as the movement of accommodation barges, utilisation of workboats, and receipt of materials etc.Prioritizes work activities across all contractors and ensures management team are in place and organized to provide efficient execution of the work.Key interface with Client Operations team, attending Work Planning / Approval Sessions and communicating outcome to Contractor management team.Ensures Construction Execution Planning and delivery of the portfolio of project scopes across their assigned asset is performed to drive efficient management of Construction Contractors workforce to deliver projects safely, to the required standards within budget and schedule.Provide certainty and confidence to the Client and Wood Project Sponsor, that the contract is being delivered safely with a strong focus on optimization, cost control, risk management, schedule adherence and stakeholder management.Responsibilities:
To lead the team of Engineers and Designers
Responsible for the design and approval of all electrical work on assigned projects
Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used on assigned projects meet the Client\'s requirements
Participate in project scheduling and project review activities
Carry out calculations & studies required to finalize electrical equipment specifications
Prepare material requisitions and technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment on assigned projects
Assists the designers for the preparation of electrical drawings such as SLDs, Protection & Control schematics and layout drawings.
Review vendor\'s document to ensure equipment vendors provide timely and quality input into design packages
Review all third-party discipline design work
Understand the contract quality management system and ensure these requirements are met
Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes
Proficient in the use of ETAP, Navisworks, Lighting calculation Software (Dialux etc.) and MS- OFFICE
Set up and maintain electrical databases on assigned projects
Carry out electrical engineering work as required by the lead electrical engineer in accordance with the agreed project schedule
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT\'s) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT\'s) for electrical equipment (or equipment with significant electrical content) on assigned projects
Qualifications:
ADNOC offshore brownfield project experience
Experience of AC, DC Offshore Power Systems, including UPS for ESD and F&G Systems
Experience of working with leading OEMS for Design/ Interface/ Interconnections, plus Factory Acceptance / Site Acceptance Testing
Experience of Package Management
Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region
Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing team of Engineers and designers
Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn / Flexible with a can-do attitude
Working hands on Experience on SPEL
Must have working knowledge and experience of electrical discipline relevant offshore/onshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
