Job Summary: The Lead Electrical Engineer at KBR will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of the BP_ROO_EPCM project in Abu Dhabi. This position involves leading the electrical engineering team, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical design and engineering solutions for onshore and brownfield projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FEED, design, and onshore projects, with the ability to provide technical expertise, mentorship, and guidance to the team. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and leadership in all electrical engineering aspects of the project. Lead the electrical design and engineering team to ensure project deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct technical reviews, analysis, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Develop and review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electrical engineers and support staff. Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and plans to meet project objectives. Review and approve technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for electrical systems. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all electrical engineering activities. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to address electrical engineering requirements and resolve technical issues. Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments to provide input on electrical engineering matters. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress and quality of electrical installations. Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, evaluating bids, and selecting electrical equipment and materials. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules related to electrical engineering scope. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in project delivery.

Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in electrical engineering principles and practices Proficiency in electrical design software and tools Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry Previous experience in FEED, design, onshore, and brownfield projects

Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Any relevant industry certifications or training programs
