Lead Digital Technical Specialist is responsible for executing programs, working with dealer resources, digital resources, marketing resources, business resources, and vendors tasked with developing and maintaining dealer digital solutions to enable Cat Digital Strategy. This position will contribute to development, and deployment of Dealer Digital Integrations, ERP Migrations, and support of ERP Vendors. This position will also provide application and technical support for the integration solutions between CAT and Dealers Systems.

What you will do:

Support Program managers responsible for DMS Strategy, Governance, and Framework.

Provides Dealer ERP Subject Matter expertise, consultation, and support.

Supports CIO engagement and Enterprise Agenda advocacy on Digital and IT

project impacting dealers.

Drive Dealer integration of CAT Interfaces delivering business valuable features.

Participates in capturing Voice of the Dealer for successful enablement of CAT integration changes between Dealer and CAT.

Incumbent will support various project teams and obtain/provide a variety of information starting at concept stage and continuing through prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up stages of various projects.

Depending on nature of problems, expected to recommend possible solutions and alternatives.

Provides Dealer Ecosystem support and management.

Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

Relevant Skills: Problem solving:

Experience in testing and troubleshooting systems, preferably ERP systems.

Selects and presents application design or configuration alternatives of small to medium complexity.

Assists in reviewing and documenting tasks, activities, deliverables, and key concerns of technical design.

Customer focus:

Provides support to resolve technical issues with business partners, customers, or end users.

Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.

Measures and observes customer satisfaction levels to ascertain and implement service improvement alternatives.

Consulting and effective communication:

Provides informational content and training sessions with business partners, customers, or end users.

Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness with both internal and external parties.

Communicates well on all levels of the organization.

Applies knowledge of personalities and team dynamics to solve problems and facilitate change.

Facilitates a culture of continuous improvement.

Emphasizes the business impact of failure and the criticality and timing of needed resolution so that problems can be avoided in the future.

Creates trouble reports for all issues found and reviews solutions for completeness and correctness.

Top Candidates May Also Have

A college or university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Management, or certification that is equivalent.

8+ years program and project management experience working with software engineering or system integration teams.

8+ years background in CAT Dealer Operations, or System Integrations and Data.

ERP systems knowledge in areas of DBS, Microsoft, or SAP.

Good understanding of CAT dealer operations, and / or experience with Dealer facing applications and Integrations.

Deep understanding of the role IT / Digital plays in supporting growth and business development.
