Job Description

Our client, an international law firm are wishing to recruit a qualified accountant with a minimum of two years experience in a law firm or professional services environment. You must already be based in Dubai.
Main Responsibilities:

• Manage regional VAT filings and oversee corporate tax processes across regional offices.
• Respond to queries from regulatory bodies on tax assessments and liaise with tax auditors.
• Maintain the transfer pricing mechanism among regional offices, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Provide support to Payables and Revenue teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Oversee Timekeeper rates and handle ad-hoc queries from Timekeepers, supporting their time recording and client information requirements.
• Assist in financial audits and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.

Required Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with an accounting firm in the UAE. Prior experience in the service or legal industry is advantageous.
• Education: University Graduate or Post Graduate, with a major in Accounts preferred.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting platforms such as ELITE and 3E is an advantage.
• Language: Fluent in English, with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
