The Laundry Valet is responsible for providing high-quality laundry services to hotel guests. This role involves the collection, sorting, cleaning, pressing, and delivery of guest laundry and linens, ensuring they meet the hotelxe2x80x99s standards for cleanliness and presentation. The Laundry Valet plays a key role in maintaining guest satisfaction through efficient, timely, and courteous service.

• Collect and sort laundry from hotel guest rooms.
• Check garments for damage, stains, or special washing instructions.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Use appropriate detergents, fabric softeners, and stain removers.
• Fold and hang clothing according to hotel standards.
• Keep laundry area clean and organized.
• Inform guests of any issues with their laundry or special requests.
• Keep track of inventory of supplies and report when items need to be restocked.
• Follow safety procedures when using laundry equipment and handling chemicals.

Desired Skill & Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role may be preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays, as laundry services may be required 7 days a week.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime if needed.
• Ability to speak and understand English, as communication with guests and colleagues is necessary.
