Supervision of Laundry Operations

Oversee the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and within established timelines. Inventory and Equipment Management

Monitor stock levels of laundry supplies and chemicals, placing orders as necessary to prevent shortages. Ensure all laundry equipment is well-maintained and arranged for repairs or servicing when needed. Implement and oversee inventory control procedures for linen and uniforms to minimise losses and damage.

Customer Service Excellence

Address and resolve customer complaints or special requests regarding laundry services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to accommodate specific linen requirements and ensure timely service provision.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals. Conduct regular safety audits and recommend improvements to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a commercial laundry or similar environment is highly desirable. Thorough understanding of laundry equipment operations, processes, and maintenance. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to laundry operations.
