Ensure all laundry processes adhere to the hotel\'s standards and health regulations
Develop, implement and maintain procedures for washing, drying, pressing and/or folding of all hotel linens and guest laundry
Maintain and monitor inventory levels of linens, uniforms and supplies and manage purchasing to ensure adequate stock
Uphold hygiene and safety standards in the laundry area
Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service and uphold MO standards of excellence, through training, mentoring, and performance management
Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration creativity and continuous improvement among the team
Handle guest and/or colleague enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Cultivate relationships with guests, suppliers, stakeholders and industry partners to enhance the Hotel reputation and visibility
Collaborate with other departments to meet guests/colleagues expectations and resolve any laundry-related issues promptly
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience working in a luxury hotel environment, with at least 2 years of laundry experience in managerial role. Middle East experience and hotel pre-opening experience in a luxury hotel environment is an advantage
With High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree or higher national diploma equivalent in hospitality/hotel/business management is an asset.
Laundry operational knowledge and inventory/stock taking knowledge are mandatory;
With exceptional organizational skills, attention to details and with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
With a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service and resolving issues quickly and effectively
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
