Laundry Manager
Job Description
Supervise the day-to-day operations of laundry.
Checking quality of processed laundry and dry-cleaning work to ensure optimum quality of work.
Ensures that washing formulas which are set by the laundry manager, are followed accurately.
Ensures that hotel linen and uniforms are processed efficiently and that there is adequate supply of clean linen.
Ensures that the laundry equipment's is kept clean and is well maintained compiles with hotels, health, and safety and hygiene policy.
Supervise and monitor the performance of all laundry employees in order to maintain established standards and provide efficient service to the guests.
Responsible for proper handling of guest laundry.
Follow up with engineering department on preventing maintenance and repair orders.
Checking daily production according to priorities.
Counter checking that all items processed are spotlessly clean as per hotel standards and guests' satisfaction.
Investigates and resolves guest's complaints of unsatisfactory work or shortage of linen.
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
