What you\'ll do

You will be responsible for overseeing of the Uniform, Linen and Valet Operations to ensure our guests and colleagues receive nothing but the best experience.
You are responsible for the daily operation of the Valet Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas.
Oversee the daily shift operations of the department to ensure all areas are covered and processes are followed.
Works with the external laundry provider to ensure the timely pickup and delivery of guest laundry, uniforms, rooms linen, spa, pool, gym and food & beverage linen.
Completes inspections of returned items to ensure they are cleaned correctly, no stains, damage and holds people accountable for corrective action.
Ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
You\'ll also participate in the management of the department\'s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. Understand the impact of department\'s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
You will conduct inventories and are responsible to maintain all records for par levels, discards and losses.
You will prepare the monthly laundry reports and compare actual costs to budget/forecast.
Prepare orders for all operating equipment in the department, new uniforms and additional linen requirements.
