Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Laundry Processing:

Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all laundry items, including linens, towels, clothing, and delicate fabrics.

Operate a variety of laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, irons, and steamers.

Identify and treat stains using appropriate methods.

Follow specific care instructions for different fabrics and garments.

Maintain accurate records of laundry processed for each property.

Inventory Management:

Maintain an inventory of all linens and supplies for each property.

Track and report any damages or losses.

Ensure adequate stock of laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and other necessary supplies.

Property Management Support:

Assist with packing and unpacking for residents and guests.

Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as changing bed linens and organizing closets, as needed.

Travel between different properties as required.

Professionalism:

Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.

Adhere to strict confidentiality regarding the household and its residents.

Communicate effectively with Manager and other staff members.

Demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Proven experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role, preferably within a private household or luxury hospitality setting.

? Knowledge of different fabrics and their care requirements.

? Experience with stain removal techniques.

? Ability to operate various laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

? Excellent organizational and time management skills.

? Strong attention to detail.

? Ability to maintain confidentiality.
