Job Description
We are searching for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. This essential role requires organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for the complete laundry process. Your tasks will include sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment following safety standards.
- Sort and classify articles according to colour, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of cleaned laundry, removing stains and repairing minor damages if necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper stock levels of laundry detergents and other supplies, notifying management of low inventory.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for laundry services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a similar laundry role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to manage repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads safely.
