\xc2\xb7 Load/unload parts from machine. \xc2\xb7 Works from detailed blueprints. \xc2\xb7 Lays out reference lines and points as a guide in machining operations when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Sets up milling machines by positioning and locating work piece. \xc2\xb7 Set up Lathe Machines. \xc2\xb7 Control and adjust machine settings. \xc2\xb7 Operates assigned machine shop tools including mill, lathe, horizontal and vertical saws, grinders, and drill presses. \xc2\xb7 Performs routine preventative maintenance and cleaning on assigned machines. \xc2\xb7 Learns to use the hand tools needed to perform the job. \xc2\xb7 Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collects, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to operate CNC Lathes AND Mills with G code controls and Mazatrol controls. \xc2\xb7 Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. \xc2\xb7 Some knowledge of inspection gauges and equipment.
