: Landscape Engineer Dubai, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Engineer to join our team! What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Performs well-defined field engineering assignments related to Hard and Soft Landscaping Works related to the Project.
- Review of design and primarily involving constructability and conflicts, review and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, materials and concepts.
- Review of prequalification of Contractor/Subcontractors and selection of material and obtaining Authority approvals as and when required.
- Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Assists construction personnel with general technical details.
- Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutions.
- Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
- Establishes and maintains liaison with the discipline design engineering staff. Monitors discipline construction schedules and assists in progress appraisal.
- Ensures that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.
- Bachelor degree in Civil/Agricultural/ Landscape Engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum 7 years of landscaping (hardscape / softscape), recreational and irrigation work experience , particularly in irrigation network installation, within UAE or GCC countries.
- Fundamental knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as good written and oral communication skills.
- Construction Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability expertise
- International and Local Authority Standards and Statutory requirement in the field of specilisation,
