Job Description

You will be required to lead the strategic direction, management and delivery of the landscape architecture projects. Working closely with senior management, you will provide leadership, mentorship and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and vision for the landscape architecture division, ensuring team objectives align with company goals and client expectations.

Lead the conceptualization, design development, and execution of complex landscape architecture projects, incorporating site analysis, cultural context, and sustainability principles.

Effectively manage design teams, resources, and budgets to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while upholding high-quality design standards.

Serve as the primary liaison for clients, stakeholders, and project partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee the execution of design concepts, presentations, and documentation, when produced by external design parties, ensuring they align with the client's vision, project requirements, and industry best practices.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to junior and mid-level staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.

Collaborate and lead the multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, planners, and environmental specialists, to seamlessly integrate landscape design into larger development projects.

Lead business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking activities, to expand the company's portfolio and market presence in landscape architecture.

Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture and urban design, contributing to thought leadership and innovation within the industry.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards governing landscape architecture projects in the Middle East region, and proactively manage project risks.

Qualification requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.

At least 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven history of leading and managing complex projects in the Middle East.

At least 5 years of experience in the Middle East.

Experience working for developer clients is preferable.

Strong project management skills, including experience in overseeing project teams, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project outcomes.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to reach their full potential.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and project partners.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Lumion

Comprehensive knowledge of sustainable design principles, green building standards, and environmental regulations relevant to landscape architecture projects in the Middle East.

Fluency in English is essential.
