Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop detailed BIM models for landscape architecture projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate landscape design elements into BIM models.
  • Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination and clash detection process by identifying and resolving conflicts between landscape elements and other building systems.
  • Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and material schedules from BIM models.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide BIM expertise and support decision-making processes.
  • Continuously update and improve BIM standards, templates, and workflows for landscape design.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, including grading, planting, hardscape design, and irrigation systems.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., LOD, COBie) related to landscape architecture.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application to landscape design within BIM workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., LEED, BIM certification) are a plus.
