Landscape Architect
Job Description
:
We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, urban planning, and plant knowledge, along with proficiency in various design software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engaging landscape designs for parks, play areas, fitness areas, and picnic areas.
• Develop detailed drawings, including:
• General plans
• Planting plans
• Hardscape plans
• Grading plans
• Storm/subsurface water management plans
• Utilize Lumion for:
• Walkthroughs and presentations
• Rendered perspective views
• Use AutoCAD and SketchUp for drafting and 3D modeling.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure designs meet project goals and environmental standards.
• Stay updated on landscape architecture trends and sustainable practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in Lumion, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles and landscape project management.
• Knowledge of landscape plants, including trees, shrubs, ground covers, succulents, and lawns.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
