· Traveling to sites is necessary. · Proficient with all survey equipment (GPS, Total Stations, Digital Levels). · Proficient with GPS Static, RTK, and PPK data collection and Post Processing Software. · Performing mathematical calculations to determine and confirm surveying measurements. · Able to run a two-man survey crew as the Lead surveyor. · Researching and consulting maps and surveys, as well as legal documents relating to the section of land that has been measured. · Analysing data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs. · Presenting data to clients and preparing reports and other relevant information. · Collaborating and working with project managers. · Be safety-oriented and comply with all safety procedures.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences, geophysics or in a related field.
Minimum Experience:
4 years of experience under a professional surveyor or equivalent experience.
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Experience using all surveying tools equipment and electronic surveying tools (transit, levels, GPS equipment)
Use of scanning equipment would be an asset.
Processing all survey data with appropriate software would be an asset.
Proficient with word, excel and google earth.
Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and GIS programs.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Good interpersonal skills.
