Job Description

:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a critical role in mapping and measuring land areas, ensuring precise and accurate data for various construction, development, and planning projects. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet legal and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land surveys for construction, development, and land division projects.
• Measure land features such as boundaries, elevations, and distances using survey equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.).
• Prepare detailed survey reports, drawings, and documents for project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to review project plans and specifications.
• Perform research on property boundaries, title deeds, and relevant legal documentation.
• Supervise and assist junior surveyors and field crews during site surveys.
• Ensure all surveying work complies with local laws, standards, and safety regulations.
• Interpret legal documents and land records to ensure boundary correctness.
• Utilize specialized software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) to process survey data and create maps.
• Maintain accurate records of all surveys and provide project updates to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Land Surveyor, with hands-on experience in conducting surveys for construction and development projects.
• Familiarity with surveying instruments and technology (Total Station, GPS, Theodolites, etc.).
• Proficient in survey software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, etc.).
• Knowledge of land laws, property boundaries, and legal survey practices.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions, as required by field surveys.
