Job Purpose

The Land Surveyor supervises and check the setting out of the works at the site, maintaining surveying equipment. He is to report directly to the engineer in charge of the relevant section of work on the project.

Responsibilities & Duties

Data Collection: Oversee accurate data collection using advanced surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and drones.

Topographic Mapping: Create detailed topographic maps and land surveys to support project design and construction.

Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data and reports, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accurate measurements and functionality.

Data Analysis: Analyze survey data and collaborate with engineering and design teams to make informed decisions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local surveying regulations and standards, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

Reporting: Prepare detailed survey reports and present findings to project stakeholders and management.

Cost Management: Manage the surveying budget, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.

Education Requirements

- Diploma degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience & Skills

- Proven experience in surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects.

- Proficiency in surveying software and equipment.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Knowledge of surveying regulations and standards.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.

- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
