Laboratory Specialist
Job Description
UAEU, Mechanical Engineering Department, invites applications for Lab Engineer position in the areas of Dynamics, Control, Mechatronics, starting as soon as possible. Preference will be given to candidates who have sound experience with the followings: Data logging devices; Real time Control instrumentations; Different Test & Measurement instruments; QUANSER Setup Experiments; Engineering software packages; Variety of sensors, actuators, and electronics components; C Language, MELFA Basic4, LEGO Programming Package; Microcontrollers; Robot Workstations. In addition to the above, experience in any other related areas and with vibration apparatus, is a plus. Successful candidates are expected to supervise students in the lab, prepare experimental setups and do maintenance and operation for laboratory equipment.
Minimum Qualification
• B.Sc or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering • 3-5 years relevant experience
Preferred Qualification
The successful candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills in English. Other factors that will be considered include computer skills? ability to communicate with people from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds, independent worker, organized and team player
