OverviewM42 is a Tech-enabled healthcare company in Abu Dhabi, leading medical advancements through cutting-edge research, personalized care, and innovative health technologies. The Abu Dhabi Biobank (ADBB) is a key initiative, focusing on Cord Blood Biobanking (CBB) and a Pan Human Biobank (PHB), supporting clinical research, trials, and translational medicine.The Laboratory Manager will oversee the Pan Human Biobanks operational and administrative functions, ensuring high standards of service, efficiency, and compliance.Responsibilities
  • Managing daily lab operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams, handling recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and vendor contracts.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with quality assurance programs and accreditation standards.
  • Driving business development, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for service expansion.
  • Implementing process improvements, integrating automation, robotics, and digital pathology into lab operations.
Qualifications
  • 8- 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Laboratory Management. Bachelors degree in Laboratory Technology, Business Management, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and laboratory technologies.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
