Job Description
Job Summary
Maintains defensive driving.
Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
Keeps the assigned vehicle clean inside and outside.
Maintains accurate, up to date records, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management or to the appropriate personnel.
Performs minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle as required – check water/oils.
Ability to work varied hours/ days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Adhere to personal hygiene policy, grooming standards.
Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip.
Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
Other ad duties as assigned by shift in-charge.
Assist in Loading and unloading cargo.
Awareness about the type of cargo being delivered.
Follow all applicable traffic laws.
Responsible to take decisions in terms of safety constraints during deliveries
Keep a log of their activities.
License
Heavy driving (Required)
