Kumoco has secured a managed service contract to support the launch of a global mobile operator.
The Managed Service Support Engineer will be responsible for the end to end managed service experience for the contract. This is a technical hands on role so candidates must be prepared to learn the Kumoco systems and be part of the Managed Service shift rota.
Key Responsibilities
Report dIrectly to the Kumoco Managed Service General Manager
Be part of the managed service team with the ultimate outcome of ensuring the client is delighted with Kumoco Managed Service
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and other other vendor colleagues also supplying managed services
Initially be first line support, but within 6 months, cover both first line and second line support.
Take ownership of the Kumoco SLAs and ensure none are ever breached.
Be personally part of a 24/7 shift pattern to ensure 24/7 365 days cover.
Ideal Candidate
A coach, mentor and proven managed service engineer, SLA target-driven and motivated with extensive experience leading and managing complex managed service teams.
A proven track record building new managed service team's and creating a fantastic environment where people love to come to work.
A proven ability to deliver against targets and objectives
4+ years of experience being part of an enterprise software support and/or managed service team
Come from a technical background with the skills to be hands on, and when on shift be able to diagnose and escalate problems.
A person who always wants to learn and technically improve themselves. The candidate should want to be able to diagnose and escalate any Kumoco technical issue if needed.
Will be determined, outgoing, honest and open, positive, articulate and diplomatic with excellent communication skills - telephone, written and face to face.
