Mukbang Shows Restaurant, a thriving hub of Korean cuisine inspired by the global K-pop culture, is seeking a skilled Korean Chef for our new location in JBR, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Korean culinary traditions and a proven track record of delivering authentic and innovative Korean dishes.
Responsibilities:
• Menu Development: Design and prepare a variety of traditional and modern Korean dishes. Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant's brand.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure culinary excellence and efficient kitchen operations.
• Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and adhere to customer satisfaction.
• Culinary Expertise: Continuously research and implement new techniques and trends in Korean cuisine to enhance menu offerings.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers when necessary to gather feedback and promote a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 3 years specializing in Korean cuisine.
• Educational Background: Culinary degree or equivalent certification, preferably with a focus on Korean cooking.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills, creativity in menu planning, and proficiency in managing kitchen operations.
• Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Korean is highly advantageous.
