, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing all kitchen appliances and systems. Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform preventive maintenance on all kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, fryers, and ventilation systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Identify and resolve issues with kitchen equipment, ensuring repairs are performed promptly to minimize downtime.
System Inspections:
Regularly inspect kitchen appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems for issues and perform necessary repairs.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure kitchen equipment and systems comply with safety and health regulations. Adhere to the appropriate standards for gas, electrical, and water connections.
Cleaning and Servicing:
Clean and service kitchen equipment, including range hoods, exhaust systems, and grease traps, to ensure proper functioning.
Emergency Response:
Respond quickly to emergency service calls for malfunctioning kitchen equipment, especially during peak hours.
Inventory Management:
Keep an inventory of spare parts and equipment needed for maintenance, ensuring that the kitchen operates without disruption.
Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff, management, and other maintenance team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance requests.
Installation:
Install new kitchen appliances and equipment, ensuring that everything is set up and calibrated properly.
Documentation:
Maintain records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
Training:

Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a
Kitchen Technician
, maintenance technician, or in a similar role with a focus on commercial kitchen equipment.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of kitchen appliances, systems (refrigeration, gas, electrical), and general troubleshooting.
Certification:
Certification or training in commercial kitchen equipment, electrical, plumbing, or related fields is preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
Attention to Detail:
Thorough understanding of safety standards and the ability to ensure compliance with regulations.
Physical Stamina:
